More Reflections on Realtor® Antitrust II

If you've read my "Reflections on Realtor® Antitrust Cases"  and "More Reflections on Antitrust" this is the third installment of my thoughts and proposals based on my over 30-years of dealing with the Realtors. This page continues my rationale for why fee-based services are so much superior to commission-based Realtors plus additional commentary as events continue to expand.

Homie Plays That...

On August 22nd, 2024 another lawsuit was filed in federal district court in Utah called Homie Technology, Inc. v. NAR, et al.  This one is a doozy!  I posted the following on a Substack comments section that I follow:

Crt-H:   Find    Homie       Replace           Me

Ctl-H:    Find    Utah          Replace     Wisconsin

Done

This case is very similar to my experiences with NAR, WRA and the GMAR.  Except I go back 30 years, not 10, and I did everything I could to appease the Realtors because I couldn't afford to be blackballed.  Homie seemed to be very aggressive in reducing BA commissions and angered lots of brokers.  My approach didn't work out anyway and they found themselves on the wrong side of the brokers.  Homie has the receipts though.  Good luck to them.
